HOOT!’s resident showstopper gets a showcase all her own, and they’re retrofitting the venue for the occasion! As science shows us, big bangs come from small sources, but none so sweet as the reet petite Amy Kessler. With the dynamic assistance of Joshua Raoul Brody, Amy will bring a mulitverse of musical styles into a harmonic whole, making it seem as if Rossini, Flanders & Swann, Charles Ives, Rogers & Hart, Jacques Brel, Lieber & Stoller all worked at the Brill Building for one sole client. With special guests Stina Hokenson and Merle Kessler augmenting the sonic pleasure, we’re setting a musical high mark for 2018 that we’ll spend the rest of the year reaching for. Whatever the time signature, these bangs will beat 4.4!
